Before John's Garage

This is a picture of my dad when he worked at Oklahoma Transportation Company in Oklahoma City. As you look at the picture he is the first man on the second row from right to left. His partner at John's Garage is on the first row third man from right to left.

Soon after this picture was taken my dad suffered from pneumonia and was hospitalized. He almost died in a Tulsa hospital. John opened a garage on his own and asked our dad to join him after dad got out of the hospital. He could not work much but John provided a way until he got up on his feet.

People helping people is a good thing. It is interesting that both of these men have sons who are in ministry today.

I celebrate common people today. Those who help. Those who get involved. Those who do.
